'The Yes Men' es un grupo formado por Andy Bichlbaum y Mike Bonanno. Con un grupo de colaboradores, crean páginas de internet de industrias ficticias, entre otros métodos, con la idea de ser invitados a congresos y reuniones de alto nivel empresarial; en especial, de aquellas industrias cuya actitud de desprecio a la vida humana o a la naturaleza, se ha hecho más que patente.
Ignorando la comprensible reacción violenta, la ira, el enfado y todas las reacciones que provocaría tener conocimiento de cómo estos grupos anteponen las cuentas de resultados a ninguna otra consideración, por humana o compasiva que ésta fuera, The Yes men se introducen en el propio círculo de reuniones de alto nivel, y les hace ver en su propia cara la locura y el sinsentido de su proceder. Y lo hacen con la herramienta del ridículo y el humor.
En una de sus útlimas acciones, Andy Bichlbaum se hizo pasar por portavoz de Dow Chemical, la empresa petroquímica causante de la mayor catástrofe industrial de la historia, en su fábrica de Bohpal, en la India. A pesar de ser responsables, los cientos de afectados no han recibido ninguna ayuda. Por eso Andy Bichlbaum, como portavoz de Dow Chemical, anunció a través de la BBC, que la Dow Chemical asumía toda la responsabilidad por lo ocurrido hace más de veinte años, aunque esto supusiera la pérdida de la empresa…
El resultado: las acciones de Dow Chemical bajaron al instante, perdiendo dos millones de dólares. Posteriormente, cuando fueron obligados a reconocer su “broma” públicamente, se les acusó de hacer humor y mofa de la desgracia ajena, al burlarse del pueblo de Bohpal, y que tras conocer que todo era una triste broma los habitantes de aquel lugar se encontraban desolados, entre lloros y lamentos… Así, The Yes Men no dudaron en desplazarse a Bohpal para comprobarlo por sí mismos esta supuesta reacción, y descubrieron un pueblo que ha sabido hacer frente a la desgracia, y que lejos de sentirse tristes, les agradecían el hecho de que ahora, al menos, durante un tiempo su caso fuera de nuevo actualidad.

'The Yes Men' is formed by Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno. With the help of their collaborators, they create web sites of fictitious industries, among others methods, with the aim to be invited to congresses and high level meetings of industrial companies, especially those industries whose attitude of scorn to the human life or the nature, has become patent.
Ignoring the comprehensible violent reaction, the wrath, the annoyance and all the reactions that would cause to have knowledge of how these groups put first their financial profits without no other consideration, 'The YES' men introduce themselves in the higher level circles of power, to say they, in their own fac,e the madness and non-sense of their behaviour. Ant the do it with the tool of the ridiculous and the humour.
In one of their last great actions, Andy Bichlbaum disguissed as a spokeman of Dow Chemical, the petrochemical company causing the greater industrial catastrophe of history, in its factory of Bohpal, India. In spite of the Down responsability, the hundresds of have not received any aid for the company. For that reason Andy Bichlbaum, like spokesman of Dow Chemical, announced through the BBC, that Dow Chemical assumed all the responsibility by the dsisaster of twenty years ago, although that would suppose financial losses for the company…
The immediate result was that Dow Chemical shares lowered, losing two million dollars. Later, when they were forced to publicly recognize his “joke”, they were accused to laugh at thee other people's misfortune and of making fun of the town of Bohpal, whose habitants, after to know this sad joke, were desolated and moaning... Thus, The Yes Men did not doubt in moving to Bohpal to verify this supposed reaction by themselves, and they discovered a town that has fight the misfortune, and that, far from to feel sad, was thankful to they because at least for a short time, their disaster was again in the breaking news.
